AISI 440C (American Iron and Steel Institute) high carbon (min. 0.95%) martensitic alloy stainless steel with a hardness of 57-59 HRC with impressively high strength and corrosion resistance, containing min. 16% chromium. The high carbon content generates chromium carbide compounds for wear resistance and edge retention after hardening. Due to its high hardness, the steel is suitable for the manufacture of cutting tools, knife blades, scissors and medical instruments.

Blade – massive with dagger profile and thickness of 4.4 mm. Satin smooth Plain blade with Flat Grind provides strength and tapering of the blade towards the tip reduces weight while improving cutting edge geometry. Single side sharpened; it has excellent piercing properties while maintaining good cutting ability.

Handle – non-slip textured linings for better grip. Made of Delrin plastic resistant to mechanical damage, chemicals, low temperatures. Solid brass rim protects hand from slipping on the blade. In the rear part of lanyard hole, a hole for string.

Sheath – made of Kydex, with TekLok type attachment allows to carry the holster on the belt or on the equipment in many positions.
