D2 – high carbon tool steel. With a high 10-13% chromium content, it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge retention and easy sharpening. It is characterized by high hardness in the range of 59-61 HRC and resistance to abrasion.
Tanto type blade finished in Black Stone Washed method masking minor scratches. Elongated tang extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the head converging towards a needle-sharp tip of the knife. Thickness of blade provides high strength while high, flat grind guarantees excellent cutting properties. Ceramic ball bearings provide smooth and seamless operation of the blade ejection mechanism. The flipper blade has been slimmed so that it does not stick out sharply above the line of the handle. After opening it creates a mini-guard preventing the hand from slipping on the blade. On the back of the upper jimping blade, notched thumb rest. Liner-Lock mechanism.
Handle – textured facings for improved grip, screwed to the steel frame of the knife. In the backspacer with characteristic lanyard hole. Backspacer and handle covers made of G10 in natural color. Simple, solid construction gives assurance of many years of use. The pivot is decorated with stylized logo of Civivi brand. Two-position (left/right) metal deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position.
