9Cr18MoV – easy to sharpen high grade stainless knife steel blade. The high 18.0% chromium and average 0.95% carbon content provides excellent corrosion resistance. The presence of 0.8% silicon and 1.3% molybdenum increases steel strength and wear resistance. 9Cr18MoV is characterized by high hardness in the range of 58-60 HRC.

Blade – satin drop point type. Elongated belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade, converging towards a needle-sharp tip of the knife. The high, concave Hollow Grind provides powerful slicing performance while the aggressively hollow drop point is suitable for piercing and precision work. Ceramic ball bearings assist in opening the blade with either a double-sided thumb stud or a quick index-finger flipper. When opened, the flipper forms a mini-guard to prevent your hand from slipping on the blade. Finger choil, cut under the index finger makes it easy to use during precision tasks. All locked with proven liner lock.

Handle – milled from FRN (Fiber-glass Reinforced Nylon), lightweight and durable fiberglass reinforced nylon. Covered with imitation bolster and non-slip texture for better grip and appearance. All attached to stainless steel liners. Simple, solid construction gives assurance of many years of use. Backspacer and facings made of blue FRN composite. Similarly, as in other models, the pivot with stylized Civivi brand logo. Two-position, metal left/right deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position.

Case – included for safe storage and transport of the folder, zippered soft nylon case with Civivi brand logo.
