Black Hand Rubbed Damascus – stainless, blackened Damascus steel with unique pattern. Finished using the Black Hand Rubbed method of blackened, hand rubbed damascus. A blade consisting of two different types of steel, forged and put together in different ways to produce this amazing pattern. It is characterized by high hardness in the range of 58-60 HRC.
Drop Point type blade with well marked belly and Gray Stonewashed finish. Small thickness of the blade in combination with high, flat grind gives the perfect geometry of the cutting edge and extreme cutting efficiency. Ceramic ball bearings support the smooth operation of the blade’s opening mechanism, which can be opened by gravity with a release button located on one of the handles or with a quick flipper (index-finger flipper). When opened, the flipper forms a mini-guard to prevent your hand from slipping on the blade. On the back of the upper jimping blade, a notched thumb rest. The whole is locked with a solid button lock.
Handle – green color. Made of Micarta, a fabric compressed under pressure with resin. Chamfered cover edges eliminate sharp edges for comfort and improve grip. Open-backed design attached with steel spacer sleeves reduces weight and makes it easy to clean. The pivot is decorated with a stylized Civivi brand logo. Two-position, right/left deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position.
Case – knife is packaged in a zippered soft nylon case with the brand logo for safe storage and transport of the folder.
