Native Sandblasted Black Micarta, Black Idroglider Stone Washed bushcraft knife suitable for all outdoor activities. High Speed D2 – A high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 58-60 HRC. With a high 13.0% chromium (Cr) content, it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge holding and easy sharpening. Features high wear resistance due to high carbide content in the microstructure.
Black Idroglider® Stone Washed – the blade has undergone a Stone Washed finish that masks minor scratches. Subsequently, the durability of the blade surface and cutting edge was enhanced with a scratch-resistant, matte black non-reflective PTFE protective coating. It ensures long life and resistance to rust.
Blade – Spey Point type finished masking minor scratches with Stone Washed method and then coated with black PTFE-based coating. The precision-ground blade offers a balance between edge holding and chipping resistance. The Plain blade with a pronounced belly and flat grind (Flat Grind) provides strength and the pronounced tapering of the blade toward the hilt reduces weight. An elongated section at the Handle forms a lower hilt to prevent the hand from slipping on the blade.
Handle – molded sandblasted Micarta grips in black. Machined in 3D, sandblasting provides a secure grip. The grip covers are attached to the shaft with strong Torx screws. Finished with a protruding tang piece that can be used as a hammer, glass breaking tool or for other applications. Thanks to holes in the head and the hilt, you can make an improvised paracord guard that will further protect your hand during heavier work.
Sheath – made of high-quality leather. Allows you to quickly retrieve the knife and protects it from falling out and moisture. The holster is equipped with a mount that allows you to carry it on your belt or on your equipment.
