Opis
The Veleno Black Aluminum, Black Top Shield dagger with a symmetrical sharp blade on both sides, is reminiscent of the knife that Fox made for the G.I.S. (Gruppo d’Intervento Speciale), the special operations / anti-terrorist group of the Italian Carabinieri. The Veleno derives from a reinterpretation of the ceremonial dagger, made more attractive by the materials used: a blade made of N690 steel with a Top Shield® finish and an aluminum handle finished in black, which resembles the distinctive color of this special forces unit.
N690Co – cobalt-rich 1.65% (Co) corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V). Developed to provide better wear resistance compared to the original Böhler N690 steel, but with higher cobalt (Co) content in its composition. It features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. Hardened in the 58-61 HRC range. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade – extremely slender with a Dagger shape with a double-edged symmetrical blade. The blade was coated with a black, non-reflective Top Shield® coating. The blade was derived with a Flat grind for excellent cutting and especially penetration properties. On both sides closer to the Handle a sawtooth blade with fine serrations. At the base of the Blade double finger guard double-sided hilt to protect the hand from slipping on the blade.
Handle – made of high quality aluminum. Provides lightness and ergonomic shape improves secure grip especially with wet hands. The head with an enlarged oval hole (lanyard hole) that allows you to pull a lanyard or safety line, can act as a glass breaker and more….
Sheath – made of high quality leather, with an eye for hanging on the belt. The leather strap fastened with a snap secures the knife from falling out. In the lower part a hole for threading a thigh cable.
