Steel
CPM-20CVis a martensitic stainless steel with extremely good wear resistance and excellent corrosion resistance. The target hardness is 59-60 HRc. CPM 20CV is a registered trademark of Crucible Industries LLC.
Blade
Drop pointtype with fine scratch concealingSilver Bead Blasted finish. The generous tang extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade converging towards a needle sharp tip. Low thickness combined with a high Flat Grind gives excellent cutting performance combined with high durability. Ceramic ball bearings support the smooth operation of the blade’s opening mechanism, which can be opened by gravity with a release button located on one of the handles or with a quick flipper (index-finger flipper). When opened, the flipper forms a mini-guard to prevent your hand from slipping on the blade. To improve blade control, the back of the blade is covered with an upper jimping, notched thumb rest. The whole is locked with a modern button lock.
Handle
Two pieces ofsolid titanium 6AL4Vin green color. Chamfered cover edges eliminate sharp edges for comfort and improve grip. Open-backed design attached with steel spacer sleeves reduces weight and makes cleaning easier. As in other WE models, the pivot is decorated with a stylized manufacturer’s logo. The left/right titanium clip allows you to carry the knife in tip-up position, with the tip of the blade upwards.
