Lumi Green Micarta, Black Stonewashed slim, ultra-light 55.7g compact drop point blade knife. Designed by respected knifemaker Justin Lundquist. Perfectly balanced, easy to carry, the artful E.D.C. with its needle-sharp blade will overcome any obstacle.
Blade – Drop Point, slim and extremely sharp, made of Sandvik 14C28N steel, currently one of the most popular steels in the world. The blade was finished in Black Stone Washed method masking minor scratches that occur during use. The smooth Plain blade has a high concave grind which provides strength, excellent cutting-edge geometry and extreme cutting and penetration performance. Ceramic ball bearings are responsible for the smooth and seamless operation of the blade’s opening mechanism, which can be opened with a gently notched front flipper. The entire blade is locked with the proven Liner Lock.
14C28N – martensitic chrome stainless steel is the latest development in the range of knife steels produced by Sandvik’s Swedish mills. An optimized chemical composition with a unique combination provides superior quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness and corrosion resistance. By reducing the amount of carbon 0.62% and increasing the chromium content 14.0%, as well as adding nitrogen 0.11%, the corrosion resistance has been significantly improved. Considered an improved version of 13C26 steel. Unbeatable in the price / quality category!
Handle – textured grips in green made of micarta, a composite material of linen and synthetic resin. All attached to stainless steel liners. Simple, solid construction gives assurance of many years of use. Open-backed construction without typical backspacer, fastened with steel spacers for easy cleaning in the field. The pivot is decorated with a stylized logo of Civivi brand. Metal double-sided deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position.
Case – the knife is packaged in a zippered soft nylon case with the manufacturer’s logo for safe storage and transport of the folder.
