9Cr18MoV – Chinese high grade stainless knife steel blade, easy to sharpen. High content of 18.0% chromium and average 0.95% carbon provides excellent corrosion resistance. The presence of 0.8% silicon and 1.3% molybdenum increases steel strength and wear resistance. 9Cr18MoV is characterized by high hardness in the range of 58-60 HRC.
Blade – clip point type, finished with black stonewashed method. The thick belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade, converging towards a needle-sharp tip of the knife. The Hollow Grind provides powerful slicing performance while the aggressively hollowed clip point is suitable for piercing and precision work. Ceramic ball bearings assist in opening the blade with a thumb cutout or quick flipper flipper (index-finger flipper). Finger choil, index-finger notch facilitates use during precision tasks. All locked with proven liner lock.
Handle – milled facings of green FRN (Fiber-glass Reinforced Nylon) material, very light and durable fiberglass reinforced nylon. Covered with imitation bolster and non-slip texture for better grip and appearance. All mounted to stainless steel liners. Simple, solid construction gives assurance of many years of use. Green FRN composite backspacer Pivot axis with stylized Civivi brand logo. Two-position metal left/right deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position. Above the clip in the hollow of the backspacer lanyard hole.
Case – included for safe storage and transportation of the folder, zippered soft nylon case with Civivi brand logo.
