Teraxe Black Stainless / G10 Burgundy, Black Stonevashed sharp knife with an equally sharp appearance. The folder features an attractive combination of a sturdy blade with an aggressive Drop Point profile made of Nitro-V steel with a contrasting G10 liner in the middle of a durable stainless steel handle.

Nitro-V a new chrome-based martensitic stainless knife steel introduced by New Jersey Steel Baron (NJSB). The manufacturer used the existing superior AEB-L knife steel and upgraded it with nitrogen and vanadium to improve edge performance and achieve high hardness and extreme corrosion resistance, especially crucial in the marine industry and humid environments. Nitro V can be used in diving knives because of its resistance to staining and corrosion. The recommended working hardness is between 58-62HRC, and it has very good impact strength compared to other steels. It is harder than stainless powder steels such as M390, Elmax and S35VN. Therefore, Nitro-V will be a good fit for knives that require good toughness.
Blade – Drop Point type with a clearly marked belly with Black Stonewashed finish. The small thickness of the blade combined with a high flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings support the smooth operation of the blade’s opening mechanism, which can be opened with a double-sided stud in the wedge (Double Thumb Stud) or with a quick index-finger flipper. When opened, the flipper forms a mini-guard to prevent the hand from slipping on the blade. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. The whole is locked with a solid Nested Frame Lock.
Handle – made of stainless steel, with an inlay made of burgundy G10, pressure-pressed fiberglass with resin. Chamfered cover edges eliminate sharp edges for comfort and improve grip security. The open-backed design, mounted with steel spacer sleeves, reduces weight and facilitates cleaning. The pivot axis is decorated with a stylized Civivi brand logo. A two-position, right/left deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position (blade tip up).
Case – the knife is packed in a zippered soft nylon case with the brand’s logo for safe storage and transportation of the folder.
