Blade – cleaver type finished with stonewashed method. Elongated belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade. Thickness of blade provides strength while high, flat grind guarantees excellent cutting properties. Ceramic ball bearings support the smooth operation of the blade’s opening mechanism, which can be opened in two ways, by means of a milled-in recess in the blade, nail nick or quick flipper (index-finger flipper). When opened, the flipper creates a mini-guard to prevent your hand from slipping on the blade. Robust Liner-Lock mechanism.
9Cr18MoV – high grade stainless knife steel blade, easy to sharpen. High content of 18.0% chromium and an average of 0.95% carbon provides excellent corrosion resistance. The presence of 0.8% silicon and 1.3% molybdenum increases steel strength and wear resistance. 9Cr18MoV is characterized by high hardness in the range of 58-60 HRC.
Handle – a layer of solid G10, with a very rough texture. The whole is mounted to steel liners, which in practice means many years of use. Backspacer made of black G10. Pivot axis is decorated with stylized Civivi brand logo. Two-position left/right metal deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position. Above the clip is a lanyard hole for fishing line.
Carrying case – comes with an elegant nylon soft pouch for carrying and storing the knife, decorated with the brand’s corporate logo.
