D2 – high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 58-60 HRC. With a high chromium (Cr) content of 13.0%, it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combination of strength, excellent edge retention and easy sharpening. It is characterized by high abrasion resistance due to the high content of carbides in the microstructure.
Blade – Sheepsfoot type, finished with a Stonewashed method to mask small scratches caused during use, then coated with a black coating. The thickness of the blade ensures high durability, while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings ensure that the blade opens smoothly and easily. The hole in the blade allows left- and right-handed people to open the knife without any problems. The back of the blade has upper jimping, a ribbed thumb rest. The locking mechanism is a proven Liner Lock.
Handle – grips made of G10 composite, a material with extremely high mechanical strength and virtually complete resistance to weather conditions and chemicals, textured for improved grip, screwed to the steel frame of the knife. The open-backed design without a typical backspacer, attached to each other with steel spacers, facilitates cleaning. The simple, reliable design ensures many years of use. The forefinger groove improves grip. The pivot axis is decorated with a stylized manufacturer’s logo. The two-position (right and left) metal deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in a tip-up position (with the tip of the blade up). Above the clip is a lanyard hole, for threading a safety or decorative cord.
