N690Co – cobalt-rich 1.65% (Co) corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V). Developed to provide better wear resistance compared to the original Böhler N690 steel, but with higher cobalt (Co) content in its composition. It features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. Hardened in the range of 58-61 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade – Clip Point type with clearly marked belly finished masking minor scratches using Stone Washed method. The small thickness of the blade combined with a high, flat grind (Flat Grind) gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Teflon washers support the smooth operation of the blade’s opening mechanism, which can be opened with a release button on one of the Handle. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. The whole thing is locked with a solid button lock.
Handle – in green color. Made of textured aluminum, whose beveled edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges for comfort, and the fore finger groove made on the front improves grip security. Next to the opening button is a locking slider, allowing you to block the possibility of accidental opening. A single-position (right) deep-carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position (blade tip up).
Case – the knife is packed in a zippered soft nylon case. It is used for safe storage and transportation of the folder.
