AISI 420(AmericanIron andSteelInstitute) rich in 0.15% carbon, containing min. 12% chromium, a martensitic stainless steel that offers high hardenability (in the 54-56 HRC range) and strength and excellent corrosion resistance. The high carbon content produces chromium carbide compounds, providing wear resistance and edge retention after hardening. Due to its high hardness, the steel is suitable for manufacturing cutting tools and knife blades.
Blade – Dagger type coated with glare eliminating, black BT (Black Teflon) protective coating. The small thickness of the blade, combined with a high concave grind, gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. The pads support the smooth operation of the opening mechanism of the wedge, which can be opened with a quick index-finger flipper. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. The whole is locked with a solid liner lock.
Handle – ABS plastic facings in black attached to a steel skeleton dyed blue. Both sides in an attractive form of Celtic knot. Chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges for comfort and sure grip. A single-position (right) metal deep-carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in a tip-down position (blade tip down).
