DLC(DiamondLikeCarbon)durability of the blade surface is enhanced with a matte black nanocomposite coating, which exhibits unique properties such as exceptional hardness and low friction, as well as excellent corrosion protection. It is one of the most scratch and abrasion resistant coatings that are used in industry, including the knife industry.
Blade – wide, Drop Point S/E(SingleEdge)type, surface durability is enhanced with a matte black DLC(DiamondLikeCarbon)nanocomposite coating with Battleworn finish. The generous belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade converging towards the needle-sharp tip. The solid thickness of the blade combined with the high flat grindgives excellent cutting properties combined with high durability. The knife can be opened with a flipper flipper (index-finger flipper). This makes it easy to use for both right- and left-handed people. To maintain full control of the blade, there is an upper jimping, notched thumb rest on the back of the blade. The entire blade is locked with the proven and popular frame lock with a steel insert to prevent the lock face from rubbing off.
Handle – obtained from a single piece of 6AI4V titanium, machined on CNC milling machines. Monolithic skeleton (body) of the highest strength, being a solid structural element. On the presentation side, screwed Carbon Fiber grip. Pivot axis decorated with a blue titanium circle. Like the blade, the Handle has been DLC-coated with a Battleworn finish. The titanium one-position deep carry clip allows the knife to be carried in the tip-up position.
