AUS-10 – Japanese stainless steel, often compared to 440C series steel, and for good reason, as the compositions are similar, but these minor differences make AUS-10 harder (hardened usually to around 60 HRC) and dulls more slowly, without losing its rust resistance. Knives made of this steel are relatively cheap and will be a great choice if our budget is not too high and we care about stainless.
Blade -sheepsfoot type, wide, finished with a scratch-masking and glare-eliminating Beadblasted method. Slightly curved cutting edge converges towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade and long grain provides high strength while the high, flat grind guarantees excellent cutting properties. Ceramic ball bearings are responsible for the smooth and smooth operation of the mechanism and support the opening of the blade with a quick index-finger flipper (flipper) when opened acting as a stag. Handle – G10 (fiberglass compressed with synthetic resin) grips. Textured for improved grip confidence, bolted to the knife’s steel frame.
