The Golf Black G10, Beadblasted is a solid full tang design, made from Japanese AUS-10 stainless steel, known for its corrosion resistance and ease of sharpening. The blade’s mixed grind combines a high, hollow grind in the back for precision cutting with a high, flat grind in the front to strengthen the tip and facilitate piercing. The durable G10 composite handle provides a secure grip thanks to its textured surface. It comes with a kydex sheath with a multi-position Tek-Lok attachment, allowing the user to adjust it to individual preferences. AUS-10 – Japanese stainless steel, often compared to 440C series steel, and for good reason, as the compositions are similar, but these minor differences make AUS-10 harder (hardened usually to around 60 HRC) and dulls more slowly, without losing its rust resistance. Knives made of this steel are relatively cheap and will be a great choice if our budget is not too high and we care about stainless.
Blade -tanto point type, finished masking the small scratches formed during use and anti-reflection Beadblasted. For ease of sharpening, the beginning of the cutting edge begins with a small choil. A mixed grind was used here, in the back part is a high, hollow grind for cutting and precision work, the so-called Hollow Ground Primary Bevel. In the front part we have a high Flat Ground reinforcing tip grind. To improve piercing capabilities, an unsharpened false blade was brought out in the upper part. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest.
Handle – made of black G10 (fiberglass compressed under pressure with synthetic resin) textured to improve grip security, screwed directly to the tang. On the front a striking bolt decoration with a stylized manufacturer’s logo. Deep, profiled finger undercut (fore finger groove) improves grip security. At the top, the protruding section of the tango contains a lanyard hole, a hole for threading a safety or decorative cord. It can also be used as an improvised glass breaker, etc.
Sheath – made of kydex which, thanks to a multi-position Tek-Lok type attachment, we can attach to a belt or to the equipment.
