Steel
D2 – high carbon tool steel. With its high 10-13% chromium content, it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge retention and easy sharpening. It is characterized by high hardness in the range of 59-61 HRC and resistance to abrasion.
Blade
Drop point type, elegantly satin finished. Long, slim cutting edge with prominent belly, converges towards needle sharp tip of the knife. Thickness of blade provides high strength while high, flat grind guarantees excellent cutting properties. Ceramic ball bearings ensure smooth operation of the blade ejector mechanism. Flipper flipper when opened creates a mini-guard to prevent slipping of the hand on the blade. On the back of the upper jimping blade, a notched thumb rest. Liner-Lock mechanism.
Handle
Brown micarta (compressed canvas with synthetic resin) linings, textured for better grip, screwed to steel knife frame. Solid G10 backspacer. Simple, sturdy construction gives assurance of many years of use. Deep forefinger groove for improved grip. Pivot axis is decorated with stylized screw. Two-position (right/left) steel deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position. Above the clip lanyard hole, a hole for threading a safety or decorative cord.
