Thrill Bronze Titanium, Satinultralight classic folder by the Italian LionSteel manufactory with handle manufactured in Solid® technology. Proof of the high technological development used in the manufacture of knives. Equipped with SlipJoint mechanism, „no lock”, built from one piece of material. An excellent tool for most cutting jobs, socially friendly, legal in most countries.
Design by Molletta, designed by a well-known and respected Italian designer with many years of experience. Michele Pensato (a.k.a. Molletta), is distinguished by a new approach to the use of materials and experiments in the application of heat treatment and the use of advanced software in the design of knives.
M390 Microclean®- a martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to its alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of „wire” during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) doped with 1.9% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), and is hardened between59-61 HRC.This super steel is comparable to Carpenter’s CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. SlipJoint – a „no lock” non-locking mechanism used in folders. It uses spring pressure on a flat notch at the back of the blade to keep the blade open during use. Slip Joint holds the blade in both folded and unfolded positions. Force is required to fold/unfold the knife.
IKBS – (ball bearing system) enables fast, smooth opening of the blade.
Blade – Drop Point type provides excellent cutting edge geometry. The Plain blade has a Full Flat Grind, which perfectly presents the matt satin finish of the blade. The knife is opened with double-sided notches on the nail nick.
Handle – brown colour. Made of a single block (one piece) of solid titanium 6AI4V machined with Solid® Knife technology. Using CNC machining, a lightweight, monolithic skeleton (body) of the highest strength was obtained, which is a solid construction element. Non-slip cover texture for a better grip.
H.WAYL- (HideWhatAnnoysYouLionsteel)concealed right-side clip allows the knife to be carried in tip-up position. The clip is released only by pressing a button. A solution appreciated during long-term use of the knife, when the classic protruding clip can get in the way while working.
