Isonzo Clip Point Green FRN, Black Idroglider is a compactE.D.C. folding knife that combines expert craftsmanship with premium materials. Exceptionally handy and easy to carry due to its compact size. The integrated backspacer features a lanyard hole, allowing the knife to be attached to gear with a carabiner—making it an ideal tool for mountain climbing or hiking. Designed by renowned Danish knifemaker Jesper Voxnaes.
Jesper Voxnaes began creating knives in 1989, when he was just 18 years old, forging each blade completely on his own. His unique style stems from the meeting of his roots in world-renowned Scandinavian design with his passion for American knifemaking. This original approach meant that his knives quickly became very popular, especially in the US, so much so that he was able to expand his business with machines he made himself. Since then, he has been a professional knifemaker and has worked as a designer with many top knife companies, achieving great success in many different fields.
N690 – corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with the addition of molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V) and cobalt 1.50% (Co) for structural uniformity. Features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. It achieves a hardness of 57-60 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade – clip point made of Bohler N690Co stainless steel, which holds sharpness well and is very easy to sharpen. Opens with a hole in the blade, so it can be used by left and right-handed people without any problems. The small thickness of the blade in combination with the high, flat grind gives us cutting properties almost on the level of a razor. On the back of the blade there is a small jimping (notched part) on which you can comfortably rest your thumb.The blade was covered with a black protective coating. The entire blade is locked with a proven and popular liner lock.
Handle – made of green FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon), a very light and durable material. It was screwed to an orange, aluminium backspacer in the shape of a carabiner. This makes it easier to carry the knife on the equipment or backpack straps. To improve grip, the handle has been deeply textured. A two-position (right/left) deep carry clip allows the knife to be carried in tip-up position. To reduce weight, it is made of steel wire (wire clip).
Comes with torx key in sizes 6 and 8.
