Kukri-26M is a traditional Kukri knife, a distinctive tool originating from Nepal and famously associated with the Gurkhas—Nepalese soldiers renowned for their bravery and combat skills. The Kukri features a curved blade that is thicker and heavier at the base, tapering toward the tip. This unique shape allows for effective cutting, chopping, and slicing, making it a highly versatile knife well-suited for various camp tasks and outdoor work.
X50CrMoV15(1.4116) -molybdenum-vanadiumhigh-carbon, martensitic stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion and wear. Used in the manufacture of knives, high-end cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a fairly high, for stainless steels, hardness of56-58 HRC.The chemical composition of the steel is enriched with an admixture of15.0%chromium (Cr),0.80%molybdenum (Mo),0.20%vanadium (V).
Blade – a robust, curved kukri profile with excellent mechanical properties and long-lasting edge retention. The plain-edge blade is crafted with a hollow grind, ensuring superior cutting performance.
Handle – made from rosewood pakkawood, riveted to the tang for durability. The classic shape of the scales provides a comfortable grip in nearly any hand position.
Sheath – crafted from thick, dark brown buffalo leather, the sheath is designed for belt attachment and features tie-down cords at the lower end to secure it to the thigh, preventing unwanted movement during vigorous activity. The sheath’s exterior is embossed with the manufacturer’s logo and fastened with a Prim-style snap closure. The edges are stitched with decorative thread for added durability and style.
