D2- a high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 58-60 HRC. With a high chromium content of 13.0% (Cr), it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge holding and easy sharpening. Features high wear resistance due to high carbide content in the microstructure.
Blade – Drop Pointtype with a clearly marked belly finished with a scratch-masking Black Stonewashedfinish. The small thickness of the blade combined with a high concave grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings support the smooth operation of the blade’s opening mechanism, which can be opened with a quick flipper (index-finger flipper) and a double-sided pin in the blade. When opened, the flipper forms a mini-guard to prevent the hand from slipping on the blade. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest located on a gentle ramp. The whole is locked with a solid Liner Lock.
Handle – made of G10, a composite fiberglass material compressed with synthetic resin. Chamfered cover edges eliminate sharp edges for comfort, and a fore finger groove improves grip security. The open-backed design attached with steel spacer sleeves reduces weight and makes cleaning easier. A two-position, right/left deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position (blade tip up).
Comes with anelegant pouchfor carrying/storing the knife, decorated with the company’s logo.
