Gordo Olive Canvas Micarta, Satinis the latest design by American knifemaker Peter Carey. It is a compact EDC folding knife, precisely crafted, featuring a G10 composite handle and a D2 tool steel blade with a black finish. Its small size makes it ideal for everyday carry.

D2 – a high-carbon, high-chromium, high-speed tool steel, heat treated to 59–60 HRC. Thanks to its high chromium content13% (Cr), it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. It combines high strength, excellent edge retention, and relatively easy sharpening. It is also characterized by very good wear resistance, resulting from a high carbide content in its microstructure.
Blade – wide, Drop Point type finished with an elegant Satin method, which gives an elegant, slightly shiny look with delicate linear grinding marks. The pronounced belly extends the cutting edge relative to the blade length, tapering toward a needle-sharp tip. The relatively thin blade, combined with a high hollow grind, delivers excellent cutting performance while maintaining high durability. Ceramic ball bearings support smooth blade deployment, which can be accomplished using either the ambidextrous double thumb stud or the index-finger flipper, which also serves as a guard when the blade is open. This makes the knife fully suitable for both right- and left-handed users.To maintain full control, the blade spine features upper jimping, a ridged thumb rest. The knife is secured by a robust liner lock mechanism.
Handle – rough Micarta scales (pressure-pressed canvas with synthetic resin), which have been screwed to steel liners. The open-backed construction, without a traditional backspacer and connected with steel spacer tubes, facilitates cleaning and maintenance. The simple and robust build ensures reliable use for many years.A deep carry clip, single-position (right), allows discreet pocket carry in tip-up orientation (blade tip pointing upward).
Sheath – the set includes a soft nylon pouch with a zipper and the manufacturer’s logo, designed for safe storage and transport of the folding knife.
