Minimis Stonewashed is a project by Polish knife maker and designer, Ostap Hel. A small and strong knife with a fixed blade, monoblock construction and a blade that provides optimal edge geometry and Drop Point profile offers from extreme cutting power to scalpel-like precision. An exceptional E.D.C. knife made with very good materials at an attractive price.
Civivi – a sub-brand of WE Knife, a company producing knives of the highest world quality. The production takes place on the same production lines as WE, thanks to which the highest assembly standards are maintained.
10Cr15CoMoV – easy to sharpen, high carbon knife stainless steel, equivalent to Japanese AUS-10 steel. Characterized by high hardness in the range of 60-62 HRC.
Blade – Drop Point type with incredibly sharp tip, finished with Stonewash method. The blade’s thick belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade converging towards a needle-sharp tip. The thinness of the blade in combination with the high flat grind produces razor sharp cutting characteristics. To make the blade easier to control, a section of the back of the blade is covered with upper jimping, notched thumb rest.
Handle – tang of the knife with holes allowing to braid e.g. paracord around it. In the lower part we find two notched (jimping) fragments improving grip. Simple, solid construction guarantees many years of use. The set includes black kydex sheath which can be attached to a belt or pocket. You can also wear the knife around your neck by the included chain. In set we get an impressive pendant with titanium bead decorated with company logo.
