Thalia Tan G10, Satin is a versatile folder designed for everyday use. The drop point blade is made of excellent D2 tool steel, which stays sharp for a long time and is resistant to damage. The Front Flipper opening mechanism and a hole in the handle allow for quick, smooth one-handed deployment of the blade. The handle is made of durable G10 composite and offers excellent grip in all conditions. The ergonomic design makes the knife fit securely in the hand. D2 – high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 58-60 HRC. Thanks to its high chromium content of 13.0% (Cr), it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combination of strength, excellent edge retention and easy sharpening. Characterized by high wear resistance due to high carbide content in the microstructure.
Blade – Drop Point type, finished with an elegant satin finish. The gently curved cutting edge converges towards the tip of the blade. The thickness of the blade in combination with the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings ensure a smooth and quiet mechanism and support the opening of the blade with the help of the front flipper. The knife can also be opened with the help of the hole in the handle. On the back of the blade, there is upper jimping, a corrugated thumb rest. Locking mechanism Liner Lock.
Handle – grips made of G10 composite, a material with extremely high mechanical strength and virtually complete resistance to weather conditions and chemicals, textured for improved grip, screwed to the steel frame of the knife. The open-backed design, which is attached with steel spacers, reduces weight and makes cleaning easier. The simple, solid design ensures many years of use. The pivot axle is decorated with a stylized manufacturer’s logo. The two-position (right/left) metal deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in a tip-up position (with the tip of the blade up).
