D2 – a high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 58-60 HRC. With a high chromium content of 13.0% (Cr), it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge holding and easy sharpening. Features high wear resistance due to high carbide content in the microstructure.
Blade – Wharncliffe type with a clearly marked belly finished masking small scratches using the Stonewashed method. The small thickness of the blade combined with a high flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings support the smooth operation of the blade’s opening mechanism, which can be opened by gravity via a release button on one of the handles, a double-sided recess in the blade, or by using a quick flipper flipper (index-finger flipper). When opened, the flipper forms a mini-guard to prevent the hand from slipping on the blade. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. The whole thing is locked with a solid button lock. Under the lock button is a spring, providing enough resistance to avoid accidental opening.
Handle – made of G10, a composite fiberglass material compressed under pressure with synthetic resin. Chamfered cover edges eliminate sharp edges for comfort, grip. Open-backed design attached with steel spacer sleeves reduces weight and facilitates cleaning. Two-position, right/left deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position (blade tip up).
Case – the knife is packed in a zippered soft nylon case with the manufacturer’s logo for safe storage and transportation of the folder.
