N690- corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C), martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V) and cobalt 1.50% (Co) for structural uniformity. Features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. It achieves a hardness of 57-60 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade- drop point type, with a two-tone Satin / Stonewashed finish. The long cutting edge converges towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. Plain Plain blade, with a reinforcing grain for strength. The thickness of the blade and the high, flat grind give excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings support the opening of the blade with a quick flipper (index-finger flipper) acting as a deerstalker when opened. The knife can also be opened using a hole in the wedge. The whole thing is locked with a modern Liner Lock.
Handle- made of G10 composite (pressure-pressed fiberglass with synthetic resin) in two colors, beveled edges of the sheaths eliminate sharp edges Screwed to a solid steel backspacer, in its upper part a hole for a safety or decorative cord. The pivot is decorated with a stylized letter „B”. A titanium, single-position, right-handed deep-carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in the tip-up (blade tip up) position. A fore finger groove improves grip security.
