Roxi 3 Gray Titanium, Gray Stonewashed is one of the extraordinary knife designs by brothers Seth and Teryl Todd of TKT „Todd Knife and Tool” made from the finest materials.
CPM S35VN – American martensitic stainless steel, designed to provide better strength compared to CPM S30V, while maintaining corrosion resistance at the highest level. The chemical composition has been balanced so that it is composed of 0.5% niobium carbides along with 3.0% vanadium and 14.0% chromium carbides. Replacing some of the niobium carbides with vanadium carbides makes it about 15-20% harder than S30V without sacrificing wear resistance. It is also easier to machine and polish. The improved CPM strength of S35VN provides better resistance to edge chipping. The CPM process produces a very uniform, high-quality steel with excellent dimensional stability, grindability and ductility compared to steels produced by conventional methods. Manufactured at Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM) mills.
Blade – wharncliffe type. It opens with a front flipper, so it can be used by left and right-handed people without any problems. It can also be opened with a hole in the blade. Ceramic ball bearings are responsible for smooth operation of the opening mechanism. Small thickness of the blade in combination with high, flat grind gives us cutting properties almost on the level of a razor. On the back we find perfectly made „jimping”, notches on which we can put our finger to improve grip and control over the knife during use. The blade was finished with „gray stonewash” method. The knife is locked with a proven and popular frame lock with a steel insert protecting against wiping the lock face.
Handle – thick pieces of titanium, connected to each other by a titanium backspacer. The simplicity and solidity of the construction ensure many years of use. One-position clip (right), made of titanium, allows you to carry the knife in tip-up position. In the back of the backspacer there is a hole for threading a safety or decorative cord. As in other models, the pivot is decorated with a stylized logo of the manufacturer.
