The balanced combination of high carbon content of1.05%(C) and chromium content of15.50%(Cr) makes a stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance, high hardness (hardened to around 60 HRC) and the ability to hold an edge for a long time. As a result, knives made from AUS-10 are easy to sharpen, delivering a razor-sharp edge with exceptional performance.
