Steel
D2 – high carbon tool steel. Due to its high 10-13% chromium content, it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge retention and easy sharpening. It is characterized by high hardness in the range of 59-61 HRC and resistance to abrasion.
Blade
Massive 5.0mm Drop Point shape with well defined belly of the cutting edge. Sandblasted smooth Plain blade with Flat Grind for strength and tapering towards the tip reduces weight while improving cutting edge geometry.
Handle
Made of black G10 (fiberglass compressed with synthetic resin). Attached directly to the tang with torx screws. Fore finger groove improves grip security and together with the protruding part of the tanto creates a mini guard against slipping of the hand on the blade.
Sheath
Made of kydex, perfectly fitted to the knife, well protects the knife from falling out. Comes with a mount adapted to carry the holster on the belt at different angles.
