Steel
D2 – high carbon tool steel. With its high 10-13% chromium content, it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge retention and easy sharpening. It is characterized by high hardness in the range of 59-61 HRC and resistance to abrasion.
Blade
Clip point type, finished with scratch masking Stonewashed method. Long cutting edge in relation to the length of the blade converges towards needle sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high concave grind guarantees excellent cutting properties. Ceramic ball bearings ensure smooth operation of the blade ejector mechanism. When opened the flipper fin forms a mini-guard preventing the hand from slipping on the blade. On the back of the upper jimping blade, a notched thumb rest. Liner-Lock mechanism.
Handle
Black G10 (fiberglass compressed with synthetic resin) textured handle, textured for better grip, screwed to steel knife frame. The open-backed design attached by steel spacers reduces weight and makes cleaning easier. Simple, robust design gives assurance of many years of use. Deep forefinger groove improves grip security. Two-position (right/left) metal deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in the tip-up position (blade tip up).
